January 26th marked a significant day in our nation's history, and CGKG school proudly celebrated Republic Day with great fervor. We were honored to have Mrs. Leema Ashish, President of Tatrakshika Tuticorin, as our chief guest.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of our national flag, followed by a captivating cultural program presented by our talented students. The performances showcased the patriotic spirit and enthusiasm of our young learners.
Mrs. Leema Ashish delivered an inspiring speech, motivating our students and all of us with her encouraging words. Her presence added depth and significance to our celebration.
The ceremony's success was also attributed to the collective efforts of CGWWA members, the Officer in charge of CGKG, parents, and all attendees who took pride in the celebration. By instilling values of unity, integrity, and responsibility, CGKG is nurturing responsible citizens of tomorrow.

On January 10, 2025, our school celebrated Pongal with great enthusiasm. Teachers explained the significance of the festival, its traditions, and the importance of farmers and their hard work. Students attended school dressed in their traditional attire, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Our teachers and support staff prepared Pongal in the traditional manner, which was then distributed among all the children. The day concluded on a sweet and traditional note, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.

On 4th December 2024, CGKG observed Navy Day to honor the selfless service of the Indian Navy. The event aimed to introduce our young students to the significance of the Navy and its personnel.
The celebration included a drawing session, where children showcased their creativity by drawing Navy-inspired artwork. A photo session was also arranged, allowing students to take pictures with Navy-themed props.
Principal [Mrs. A.Maheswari] addressed the students, explaining the importance of the Navy and its role in protecting our nation. The session helped children develop respect and appreciation for the sacrifices made by Navy personnel.
The Navy Day celebration at CGKG was a meaningful way to educate our students about the value of patriotism and national service.

CGKG celebrated Children's Day on 14th November 2024, with a drawing competition and a fun-filled day of activities.

CGWWA Education Coordinator, Mrs. Vandana Singh, judged the competition and selected the winners for each class.
CGWWA Vice President, Mrs. Mukta Singh, distributed prizes to the winners and congratulated all participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
To make the day even more special, we arranged a cartoon character costume and a Mickey Mouse photo frame. The children danced, took pictures, and enjoyed themselves immensely.
The Children's Day celebration concluded on a joyful note, with chocolate distribution and memories to cherish.

On 8th November 2024, CGKG hosted a puppet show, reviving India's oldest and most traditional form of storytelling. This event aimed to introduce our younger generation to this timeless art form.
The children were thoroughly enthralled by the show, watching with wide eyes and immense interest. Our dedicated teachers put in considerable effort to make this event a resounding success.
The puppet show was a delightful experience for all, and we're grateful to have shared this piece of our cultural heritage with our students.

Diwali, the festival of lights, is one of India's most cherished celebrations. It symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, bringing joy and brightness to our lives.
On 30th October 2024, CGKG celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm. Our teachers decorated the premises with traditional kolam designs and added to the festive atmosphere with crackers.
The children had a wonderful time participating in the celebrations. To add to the sweetness of the occasion, sweets were distributed to all the children.
The day concluded on a happy and memorable note, filling the hearts of our students and staff with joy and festive cheer.
